These are some of the most beautiful Bassets in the world! They are raised in SLOVAKIA which I think is Russia? I've talked to the Kennel about buying a puppy from them. Very nice people! I just can't aford the plane ticket?    Look how Huge Dad is!  I have a lot to learn before I would actually bring one into the country around our breed. It's just wishful thinking? |

Are they not the largest Basset you've ever seen?
Something about the head? Beautiful!
All together with air fare it would run me $1,200.00 to buy a puppy? Hey that's not bad?
But I would have to talk to AKC and a few others to get their views on these breeds of Bassets.
It's my understanding that the "Scent Hound" is bred stronger in them then the American Version?
So there are differences!

I once had an on going correspondance with a man named John in Russia who had a beautiful basset girl named Solly. One day his email just disappeared? I often wonder how they are doing. She too was a big beautiful girl.

Bigger scent hound than our babies? I can't imagine! Lexie is still on the scent of a rabbit that went through our yard last week.

As I understand it
When we brought Basset Hounds from England we started breeding them different to make them more Family then their europe family

If you go to Southern Bassets Links page I have a few International Basset Kennels listed!
It's so cool to see these people are just like us!
But their Hounds are SO MUCH bigger!
Amazing don't know why that is?
