I was thinking the same thing. I love the look of Mr Magoo. Poor fellow how was he able to walk with nails sooooooo long?

The only thing I can think of is that a One Year Old Basset is NOTHING like a two year old? And still they have quiet the energy at two!
Some people just expect that laid back couch potato kind of pet out of them at too young of an age!
Very Sad Just one more year and their baby will be 100% more what they thought it should be?

I love Mr. Magoo too...and I thought the same thing about his nails. Actually, these guys were supposed to be part of a hunting pack and the owners were done with them. They were never meant to be house pets or a part of the family by those people. However, now that FBR has them, they have the chance for wonderful lives! We should rejoice in the fact that they will someday be someone's little sweetheart and will be spoiled rotten..lol. (maybe one of them will be mine??)

I am really partial to Pebbles. I love the black and tan. Good thing I can only have 3 in town or a trip to Fla might be in order. ;D

Well, Dave didn't call for a few days but finally called last night. He says no to foster until he gets home which won't be for about a month.  I am not too happy with his decision but we all know that without all the adults in the house on board, it just can't be done. Don't know why he is being such a stinky  . |

I'm not sure if I have their email address right or not but I never did hear from them?
I got the address right off the website and my outlook didn't return it so I have no idea?
If anyone knows another address for them, other then FLbassetrescue@aol.com then please let me know.
I'd sure like to get with them about some ideas to raise money and David is donating one of his Originals he's sending me that they could auction off?
Now SEE why I get paranoid! haha
