In an earlier thread I posted about the length of my basset ears. Hubby and I got to wondering what the average is. So we are asking all to attempt to measure and post their best measurment.
I'll start:
Roy is about 9 &1/2 inches
Maggie is about 8 & 1/4

Great Idea.
Looks a little slow right now but when everyone recovers from the Holidays this could be fun!
We had one of these a couple years ago and ran into a small mix up on "Where" to measure from?
I'll have to break out the yard stick when I get home! haha..

Hmmm Good point.
Ok I measured from the tip of the ear, along the center of the outer ear, to the skull.
Does this make sense or is it simply a method to my own madness? I simply got the best measurment I could with them trying to get away from me.

I'll try this when I get home! Sophie HATES having her ears touched, so I am not sure if I'll be successful with her.. I guess we will find out!

Lilly's ears are 7 1/2 which doesn't seem too long, BUT, she is super short. She's a good three inches shorter than Lucien, and he's just medium-sized. Compared to the rest of her, her ears are proportionately very long.
