The family was more than kind and did not whisk me off to Mexico for a head shaving or a tatooing. Instead they all gathered at my youngest daughter's house for a lovely dinner and great gifts. All my kids and most of the grand kids were there. Of course there were the usual over the hill balloons, but there were also some silver balloons as well. When I asked why silver my oldest said "ya know for your "silver years". I asked her if she was sure they were going to be silver as I thought they might be golden ;D ;D Her reply "Chit I knew there was a precious metal in there somewhere" ;D ;D ;D Hubby and I Miranda made me the lovely birthday hat  My beautiful daughters Michelle  Melissa  They were smart enough not to put 60 candles on the cake, so no fire Dept had to be called.  This was also our anniversary....21 years. My gift from hubby is a night away at a casino in a 1st class room. We're doing that on Sat. I am so blessed, so old, but so blessed. |
