Well I finally talked to them today. And it looks like a no go! I am upset and confused. My credit is fine,and when I turned it all in she said it all looked wonderful.And I was only asking for $6,000. But she said that the 3 people that voted on it said no. I just think it is really crappy that it took over a month to tell me no,and not give me a reason. She said that she did not know why they did that. Don't they have to tell you why if you are turned down? I guess this is why there is NOTHING here but a grocery store and a TINY @$$ Wal Mart. Oh well, Looks like I will be sitting here posting more.

I'm really sorry to hear that Kristol....that just plain sucks!!! I would think that you should have been told a reason too though. But like Jenn said, is there some other place you can try to get the loan?

I am thinking about going to the bank. I just feel like it would be harder to get though them. Tony and I are talking about going next week. If that does not work then I guess it is a no go for sure. To be honest and I don't want this to sound bad. I really thought I would get it! With nothing like that around here and my credit and everything being ok,and from the way everyone around here talked. I just knew they would say yes. I really wish they would have told me why. Then I would know what to fix before I went to the bank.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loan falling through.
Have your tried the Small Business Admin? I got my original business loan through them. The paperwork is about the same as a regular loan, but they are there (in theory) to help small businesses get going.

I hate to hear this news about your loan. Maybe it didn't come through because something better is waiting for you at another place to get the loan. I will keep you in my thoughts.

I'm so sorry you didn't get approved for the loan, Kristol Kristol. I can't figure out why ~ unless you are right and that is the reason there is no real new business in your area. Something good is coming to come y'all's way .... I just feel it. Follow your heart ~ don't let the chamber get you down.
