I’m sure you are going to enjoy everyone here. We have some of the most knowledgeable group of Basset Loving People you will ever meet! So being a new mommy if you ever have any questions this is the place to be.

There’s a Bell kit that comes with the instructions to train them but I’ve never tried it myself. And I was going to ask the same thing on the shedding if everyone’s is doing the same thing? I can’t brush Hanna & Harley enough to get rid of all the hair! It just keeps on coming? Sort of think it’s seasonal but I did see too where there are shampoos that help with that? Anyone try these shampoos?

Now Daisy’s Mom we are pretty hung up hear about Pictures! So you know you’re going to have to show us pictures of Daisy don’t you? Haha..

Hi there, glad to see another newbie- I am buddy's slave, Lori, and am constantly on here to wonder aloud "why, why WHY???" about almost everything... the one thing I have come to know for certain is that this site is full of some very wonderful supportive people who care about bassetts (ALL animals, if you read some of the who are you thread) and their fellow owner/slaves as well. This last month has been an interesting, and often confusing chapter of my life, finding the way that Buddy will fit into our family, or rather the way we will all fit around him, LOL, and it has been much smoother, and a lot more fun, to work through it with people who understand. Many happy returns!!;D
