Thank you again for the warm welcome! Now that it's warming up here in Kentucky, Loretta, Doolittle, Katie and I have been spending more time outside. Our flowers are blooming and everything is soooooooooo beautiful! Thing is...we have a slight problem. We live in the country and there are about 2-3 stray cats that happen to wonder in to our yard off and on all day long. Loretta "HATES" cats. She also hates birds, squirels, other dogs (besides doo and kate), and moles. Basically she wants to chase everything she sees in the yard. We live on ten acres but only 4 of the acres are grass the rest is woods, so I am affraid that she is going to chase theses animals into the woods where I can't find her. And not to mention the COYOTES!!! Oh and I also do not want her to hurt the little kitties. Anyhoo... is this a normal trait for Bassets? She's 2 years old and I am praying that Doolittle doesn't pick up on this trait. So far he just loves everything and everyone. Oh yah...here's some pictures:
