Isn´t it funny how a basset can look at you and you have to either start lauphing or even feel sorry instead of being angry??? I am so happy that we have a basset in our family now and - if i do enough "talking" (please please please please)- I think we will have to get a friend for Urmel!! at least I´m working on it

Ya, I can't stay mad at my baby for very long. I think that's why we did such a bad job at training her She's even cute when she's misbehaving. Hey, good luck with the quest to get a friend for Urmel. I've been working on my hubby for a while with no luck yet

I can't look at Lexie when I'm mad at her because then I can't stay mad at her. She has POWER over me!

So you want another hound? This is how I managed to get my way. Find yourself a good rescue. Then when you find a hound to join your family tell hubby we just need to go and look at this poor baby. I bet 100 to 1 once hubby sees it he will fall in love and bring it home with you. Tested and tried twice in this household and.................. now there are 3. I waited one year between hounds to seduce hubby into this. ;D ;D

Ya know, I just may try that method JoAnn. That's actually how we ended up with Scully in the first place. I saw the breeder's add for puppies in the paper and dragged Martin and hour and a half away to "look" at her.................and that was it

Unfortunately, I'm in Toronto, so Oklahoma is a little far away If I was closer I'd nab him up in a second.

Yeah that is a good drive isn't it? Nice thought though and I'm sure you would. If you're like me you could end up with a zoo of Bassets in a blink of an eye!

I'm such a animal lover that I could end up with my own zoo. If it wasn't for hubby, I would have a hundred. I get sad to see one on the side of the road or in the road. Hubby tells me it's sleeping, not dead--and I have to turn my head. Please let us know WHEN you find Joey a home!

;DYup! If I could afford it I'd have a basset zoo for sure. Maybe if I win the lottery ;D Of course that would mean lots more toenails to clip........ugh!
