I made a Huge mistake when showing the Framed and Finished Painting of David's Dowbyhuz " Hanna the Hound "
When I took the photo of Hanna in the Frame to show everyone, the frame turned out pretty good but David's portrait had this bad glare on it. Soooooo. . .
I did a little creative cut and paste putting David's Art Work inside of the frame I had bought.
If ONLY I had used the photo David sent me of HIS ORIGINAL PORTRAIT insted of slapping the actual PHOTOGRAPH I sent him to use to paint Her?
I feel like such an idiot, all the while thinking it was HIS painting ! !
I guess that's a pretty good tribute to David's work in a way? His painting was so perfect from the photo it never crossed my mind I was putting the wrong one in there.
I'm really sorry everyone!

No apology needed here. When I do things like this I chalk it up to old age ;D It is a wonderful, but sometimes lame, excuse

Old age.. Hey I got to try that one!
In this case it was a major headache and a bit of over medicating with a collection of meds from our doctor. Started with what he gives me for headaches. No good. Then tried what he gives the wife? A little Better.. And my oldest insisted I try what (the same doctor) gives him! HEY it was a bad headache! haha..
I found myself on the floor last night giving the Hounds a manicure!

OMG I would have to give Sadie the meds to do that. Do they have ANY nails left at all this morning? Or better, yet check your own

Oh they were perfect! Harley even jumped in my lap as soon as Hanna was done!
Good question though, I do notice they are limping this morning? haha..

Don't worry, I didn't notice and I wonder how many of the rest of us didn't either?
So, were the meds for your headache or to give you the courage to clip nails?

I tend to call those "senior moments"...lol. I have tried to use that excuse but don't pull it off too well since I am only 32 so I have switched to having "blonde moments" instead. I would say that my mixup on the costumes would definantly count as one..LOL

Bella!!! It is so nice to see you here! Where is Sgt. Harley?? I am glad that your momma took you for your first "spa" treatment. I am sure you had a great time and had everyone wrapped around your little paw in no time! I am still waiting for my momma to take me. She likes to do it at home, but I don't care for it much. However, my pawdicures are done at the vet man's by Miss Wendy, my biggest fan so I guess that is ok. How are things going in the potty department? I am still having some issues but they are working themselves out ok. I am glad you came to join us here at Basset Friends. Everyone here is so wonderful and super nice. I am sure that there are many friends for you to make her, including Lexie. She is beautiful too just like us.
Lillian Margaret off to steal some goldfish from the junior staffer.

Welcome Bella (that was almost my name along with Becca, Ally, Cleo, Laci (after Laci Peterson)......... I was nameless for 3 days until my daddy started calling me an ugly name and momma wouldn't go for it.
I'm having potty issues myself. I like the carpet better than the grass. Hopefully soon.
Momma bought me a bed today to put in my crate, I'll let you know if I like another day.
Welcome and looking forward to all your puppy stories!

Thanks you two. At least I had the smarts not to "Trim" their nails! I've got this condition in my vertibres that cause these massive headaches since I was 10. Last night was just one of the bad nights but you have to go on? The wife has them even worst them me and has been put on disability about a year ago with no cure in sight? And my oldest son was in a wreck and has a buldging disk. So between the three of us there is more meds in our house then at Walgreens! Just a screwed up family I guess

Believe me, I know exactly how you feel. I have PTC (pseudotumor cerebri) which is basically that my body doesn't reabsorb excess spinal and brain fluid and I have to go and get lumbar punctures every now and then to decrease the pressure. I also take medication twice a day and have a cabinet full of pain meds that hardly ever make a dent in it when it is bad. Talk about headaches! I have one every single day and probably will for life but luckily the bad ones are few and far between these days and I have learned to deal with the little ones.
I feel your pain on that one for sure. So when I cheer that your headache is gone, you know I REALLY REALLY mean it..LOL.
Here's hoping you all feel lots better soon.
