I just picked up a pair of Hounds Gloves to brush the Bassets with.
If you haven't used them go right out and get a pair! They are great! Besides the puppies loving getting a full body rub down. (who wouldn't!) when you're done they smell SO good!
I swear by them now.

I haven't heard of them---give me details, please! Is this better than the baby wipes?

They truly are wonderful. I also have a glove with little nubbies on it for bathing. I love it as well.

Last night was bath night but since Lexie has stitches, I used baby wipes. Thanks for the idea, they worked and she even smells good too!

Yeah, I needed to give lily a bath but didn't have time, so when she went to Lulu's I wiped her down with a damp cloth with some baby oil on it. She smelled good and had a nice soft coat.

I'm soooo behind! I finally bought something simular to the hounds glove at Target and you are right----it is wonderful. Lexie hates to be brushed but this works wonders. I was just bragging that Lexie doesn't seem to be shedding much (so I thought) but after using the glove---I had to vacuum the den. White carpet, black hair---yuck! ;D This will become part of our daily routine!
