Hi all...well, I was looking over the ads that show up on the top of the page and saw one that was puppies for sale, 1000's of puppies on the internet, blah, blah, blah. I got a little upset when I saw it and wrote a pretty nasty note to google about puppy mills and puppy brokers. I got a reply saying they will review the add and if it violates their policy, they will remove it, but doubt they will do much about it. I was wondering if you guys would be willing to do the same if you saw it pop up again. The more people that complain, the more likely they will remove it. All you have to do is look at the ads at the top and if you see it, click on the bottom right corner where it says Ads by Google. Then they ask you to critique the ads and have a place for comment.

All ready done. This type of advertisment just raises my hackles. People who have no idea what to do with a basset buy them and find out they are not the slow moving sleep all day hush puppie they wanted. We rescues end up trying to find educated homes (90% of the educating is done by us.) for them. This is not just our breed that is in danger. Our shelters are full of "throw away" animals and it makes me sick.

My main problem is with the fact that almost if not all of the people advertising puppies for sale are either puppy mills or puppy brokers...makes me SICK! There are reputable breeders out there to get a nice, quality, healthy pup from!!

Well, I just had that dern ad pop up at me too, so I gave google a piece of my mind for ya, (and for every hoochy hound I know of, LOL)
We'll see how much complaining they can stand! If there's one thing Buddy has taught me so far, it's that a little whine can go a looong way, LOL
