Happy Holidays One & All!
I was walking through Wal-Mart the other day when I spotted some of them ridiculously LARGE rawhides they sell each Christmas.
I actually stopped dead in my tracks… looked at this 2 foot monster and could instantly picture the utterly confused looks on my babies’ faces if I was to present them with such a gift?
Needless to say I passed them up. Just can't see my hounds putting forth the effort to haul that dinosaur bone looking thing around the house?? God help them if they try to bury it!!

Sophie wants an obstacle course where she can run and hide and steal things.
Basil wants food. And more food. Then he wants some cardboard to chew on. And more food.
They're not getting either though! My grandma bought them some toys for Christmas. I will probably get them some special treats, maybe a bully stick and a toy. I would like to get them a new dog bed, but I doubt that will happen this year.

I have no idea what Generals getting. He has started recieving gifts already in the form of cards from his basset friends. Absolutely awsome cards!

Well Rossy is like Basil he wants food and more food. Flash wants new toy that make noise where she can drive us nuts. Ernest wants a soft bed...which he is getting due to his old age. The blanket on the tile floor is not doing him any good in this cold weather.He is a little slow to rise in the mornings. Flash and Rossy will prolly be getting their Santa list too. Kelli will prolly kill me but..... I THINK LULU IS ASKING FOR 2 LITTLE BROTHERS FOR CHRISTMAS.  Even though her mom is asking that at least one is a girl. LOL I'll let Kelli tell you what that means if you have not figured it out. |

HOLY COW!! KELLI IS HAVING TWINS!! HOLY GUACAMOLE!
Am I right? Haha. If so, congratulations Kelli!! How exciting! If I'm wrong (or if you're having TRIPLETS), congratulations too!!
Kristol, have you seen those dog beds that are up off the ground? They are supposed to be really good. My supervisor has a dog about Ernest's age and she buys those cheap, mini trampolines for like $15 each and he loves using those as a dog bed. I can't remember what the actual dog bed is called, but if you are interested, let me know adn I will see if I can figure out waht they're called.

I have not seen them. Thats what he need though. I might have to check out the other,maybe I could make him a cover to go over it. Ding,Ding, we have a winner.  Jenn,you did not know it was twins? Well I'll let Kelli tell you all the details(Duh,they are her babies. I am just excited for her) but there is one boy,and they other one did not want her to know I guess. I bet it is two boys...although for Kelli's sake I hope it 2nd one is a girl. |

For Christmas LuLu is hoping for a big bowl of cat food followed by a trip to the litter box for some extra special snacks to finish up. I know ... it's gross ... we have quite a time keeping her out of the kitty treats in the litterbox. Although she is hoping for cat food, I have a sneaky feeling she will end up with a new squeaker toy or two and a new adjustable leash. And yes, Jenn, Kristol is telling the truth. We are having twins ... God help us . I did another post to fill everyone in on more details. |

I' m late on this, We already (My Mom and me) been shopping for Chumley- she loves
Dingo bones So she get a few stocking we make up with all different Dingos and some toys
and My Sister (bless her) always gives her a card with a 100.00 dollar bill in it for Chumley
(Poor chumley never see's that money, Lol) And Kelli I'm so Happy for You!

Oh boy, my three would go batshit crazy for a giant rawhide! I may have to get them one just to see what they'd do with it So far I've gotten them each a few toys but I need to go shopping again. A new bed and new collars might be under the tree. Of course, they all want lots and lots of yummy treats and for their momma to be home with them more instead of at her pesky job. |
