Lonnie,
Go to the DailyDrool , then click on Rescues, then to the Colonial Basset Hound Rescue in Massachusetts.
I will hopefully be accompanied by some of my two leggers so I will be able to take some snapshots with my digital......
Whatever works! Roof top, whatever....
Thaks ;)Sandi

You betcha! I will be taking my digital. Now I just have to figure out how to down load the pictures into the computer. Shouldn't be too hard, as I have the Kodak with the easyshare. It's supposed to be in the 60's, and sunny, so heres hoping!

Pleeeze, pleeze puleeeze.....no rain for Sunday the 18th! We want to strut our stuff in the warm and sunshine ( although the sunworshiper, Lucy will probably lay flatline in the middle of the park! Okay, now, we are kinda gettin' the feelin' that everyone on Basset Friends is from everywhere TEXT the NorthEast! Is that true? ?? Mom has the whole weekend off (Fri-Monday) and we have been on her case to get some pictures of us posted! No excuse Mom! Just do it! (Nike Air Dogs?) I think we is not..... No Rain, No Rain, STOMP STOMP STOMP!!! Love, The Boston Babe, Ethel ( and of course the sleepy one, Lucy)

The Patriot Plod was a huge success, and time enjoyed by all who participated as well as those who were spending the day at the Boston Comman - day before Marathon day, so the park was loaded with people. Most importantly it brought awareness to the area about homeless and abused hounds and helped raise money for them. The Plod was great - the circumferance of the Comman ( across from the State house) What a sight to be seen! LucyLynn and EthelAnn had a wonderful time, but upon arrival home around 4 pm, slept the rest of the day and night. Exhausted I guess! Lucy Lynn even was named (well, her registration number was pulled) the Patriot First Lady - Crown, keys to the City of Boston (NylaboneKey) and certificate and everything! OOps, also forgot her patriotic Necklace! What fun. Had hubby along wioth me, but was unable to take lots and lots of pictures cause the girls were so excited to meet so many new friends....Everyone there wanted to know if they were twins! or little GateWay computer cows! Now mind you, they are not huge, just their coloring is like a Gateway! As soon as I can figure how to post some of the pictures, I will do so, but keep an eye out on the CBHR web site. (DailyDrool.com - then to Rescue, then to MA ) I am sure they will be posting pictures very soon. They had a professional there I do believe...
Thanks all to those who did the NO RAIN dance - it certainly was a perfect day!
LucyLYnn and EthelAnn's Mom slave, Sandi
