Well, my husband went to visit Gus's new baby brother yesterday and he came home with pictures... This was what we had to begin with... And this is what we have now... Why can't he stay this small?

Ahhh, how sweet. Does he really have blue eyes? Are they born with blue eyes?

He's got blue eyes since he's grey. He may or may not keep them. I hope he does. I think that would be really cool.

My best girlfriend has a Newfy that is 15 years old. Bear got out one day and was wondering around in her neighborhood. Animal control was called that there had been a sighting of a bear. We live in the city and as far as I know, we have no bears. Anyway, animal control spent all day trying to find the bear. They did find one but not the one they were looking for. She drives a surburban and bear takes up the entire back seat. I love the gentle giant!

It should be interesting, to say the least. Gandalf is, apparently, VERY vocal. That's what Gus's breeder told us when we picked him up and his vocalness has only slightly subsided since them. I'm going to have lots of furs billowing around, lots of slobber dripping from the walls, and a lot of serenading, I'm sure! ;D
