Flash had the puppies yesterday. Mom and babies are doing fine....all 11 babies. 6 boys and 5 girls. You know she had to do thing the hard way and I have a crazy story to go along with the pics.
I had to run to the store up the road yesterday....a few minutes before 1:00. On my way out I saw Flash trying hard to poop. I thought to myself, when I get back she is coming back in the house. When I got back a few minutes later I saw her walking away from the drive way and Blue hovering over this little brown spot. Flash had the pup in the drive way. I killed the truck told Daniel to run inside and get me a towel and his daddy. I picked up the lifeless pup and squeezed her nose and started rubbing her. I rushed her in the house and put her in the towel and gave her about 3 big shakes and finally she took a breath. Tony got Flash in and we cut the pups cord. Flash wanted nothing to do with her, I thought... OH NO this is not good. It was not long before pups 2,3 and ,4 were here. Flash had no clue what to do. She would push them out and just look at me. So I busted the sack and cleaned them up and after about pup #4 she figured it out. She was a puppy machine from then on out. Once #10 got here I thought she was though so I moved her and the pups in the living room on a clean blanket. About a hour later,she went to looking at me again. I knew what was coming.... There was #11 the only black one of the bunch. She wore me out yesterday. I had to stay be her side for the whole 6 hours, if I got up she would cry.
So here they are:
This is our drive way pup. I have fallen 100% in love w/ her. We call her UNO
We were so happy to see these two little girls. They look like their daddy.
This one we call Caboose. HE is going to be beautiful!
