Back to the vet

Poor Dart. He started bleeding this morning so it was back to the vet, a bit more surgery and a beautiful purple bandage.

This was the original incision. It's much prettier with the bandage.



Now I just have to wait for lab results.....this has just been way too exciting!

We're sending all the drool we can muster. Poor little man,well pray for him and you, I know how stressed you must be.My thoughts are with you.

Poor Dart. He looks so pitiful there, I just want to give him a great big hug and lay next to him all night! We are still sending drool and some hugs your way too!

Being a basset he has the pitiful look down! But he has earned it this week! He had a drain put in yesterday and is bandaged now - so he looks slightly less pitiful.

Last night he allowed me to feed him most of my steak and today he is at work with me. I even shared a donut (plain) with him.

We're trying to make his convelescence as painless as possible!

I want to be one of your hounds in my next life.. Steak and donuts, unconditional love.. These hounds are so lucky to have found their way to you.

You should post a picture of handsome Dart with his purple bandage! I'm sure the ladies just swoon over him.

Poor guy. We are sending lots of drool to him. Believe me the puppies have tons of it. And with steaks and donuts he has to be feeling better.
