I'm right here! You know gardening is hard. I'm just about sick of veggies. But they do taste good. Those peaches look really good. I got to can bread and butter pickles tonight.

I am on my way, Helen. With fresh veggies like that you could make some killer homemade baby food. My twins would be in heaven ... well, I assume they would be ~ ~ we haven't started baby food yet. Soon, but not yet. All of that looks so good ... and all I brought for lunch today was cereal. Some fresh peaches and a tomato sandwich would be awesome.

Great. I saw that there were some new posts in here, so I clicked on it and NOW I AM HUNGRY AGAIN. We should all move to one state and start a Basset Friends commune, haha. We'd have plenty of veggies and more than enough hounds to give us our daily fix. What am I saying? There are never enough hounds!

YOu think you're up for that many new houndies and their hungry owners?
Looking at your pics make me wish I'd been able to do more of a garden this year. I haven't even made it to the Farmer's Market yet. How sad.

Gardens are a pain, but the food that comes out of them make it all better. We got too much rain and it killed mine. It beat the plants to death

I agree with moving closer to Helen and Mary. Based on their pictures, they live in a beautiful area!
I hope you can find a way to get your veggies fresh next season, I am sure you will miss it. I wish I had a garden. There is a farmers market near here, but their stuff is not nearly as good or satisfying as growing your own veggies.
Can I do a picture request? I would love to see an updated picture of your garden now.

I have put some pictures on Flickr, of course its under helensbassets, grace is my icon ,there's pics of just about everything on a lot of pics are fresh and no ones seen them, I would appreciate it if you would take a look and comment on the ones you like, it makes me sad to see ,no body counts basset hounds as a favorite. If you have an account tell me and we can be buddies.
