She tolerated the surgery well and is resting comfortably. She will stay at the vets tonight going home to her foster Fri morning and then Sat. she will come here for the night as GGBR's campout is this weekend. I will gladly stay home and snuggle with this special girl I am sooooooooooooooooooo relieved.

YEAH!!!! Penelope obvouisly knows that she now has a lot to live for!

Our weekend with her was wonderful. Such a sweet basset girl. The 1st night she really worried us as she was so lethargic and not eating well. She turned the corner yesterday and is one happy HUNGRY, bouncy little girl. I just walked in the door from delivering her back to her foster home. They we so excited to see her looking so well!!!!!!! All appendages crossed here that they decide to keep her. Took a few pix and will post them a bit later.
