I live in central Iowa and have two FM basset's, one is 3yrs old and the other is eleven. I am looking for the closest Basset Rescue and need a phone number. I found two numbers on line and noone returns my calls when I leave messages. I really need to find good homes for them and Basset Rescue was recommended. Please help. Thank you.

Thank you for contacting rescue!! Plese be patient when contacting a rescue. Most of the people invovled in rescue do it on a volunteer basis, so it can take some time for them to get back to you.
Who have you already contacted? I'll see if I can find any other #'s for you.
How urgent is it for you to find new homes for your houndies? It looks like they've been with you for a while.
