I am trying to buy one of these: I went to look at one last night and almost bought it, but I took it to my mechanic (ahem.. he is my brother actually) and found that HMM.. there are no VIN tags on the inside of the hood, on the frame where the engine sits or on the passenger side door and he told me the car had been wrecked, so I took the car right back up to the dealership and said, here you can have it back! Well, a friend of my brother's called him and said he had the car I was looking for (it is the same color as the picture) and I could have it for $300 more than what it cost the dealership. I am waiting to hear back on the details before I drive out there (it is an hour there and an hour back) but I would really like to get this car if possible so send some good luck vibes! I have been in one before and the back seat is so comfy.. I know the hounds will love it! Especially Sophie who really needs a smooth ride. I currently drive one of these and while it is nice to be able to put the seats down, the hounds still have a hard time getting up in it and it really isn't very smooth. Sophie gets so carsick

Good luck! My mom had one of those that you are trying to get and she loved it. Our fingers are crossed.

Good luck on buying a car. I thought about getting me a new car but I haven't found one big enough for me and my babies.
Did you have any problems with your other car. My friend has one she is going to give it to her son and get her a new car.

My dad was leasing one and that is when I decided I really liked it! He let me borrow it a couple times when I needed more room (back when I was driving a sports car) and I just fell in love. Your mom has good taste Kristol! lol Chris, the new car is a Nissan Altima. The old one (well, it is not old, it's only a 2005 but you know what I mean) is a Scion XB. I think the hounds will probably look cuter behind the wheel than I would. It just means I'll have to bring them along with me no matter where I go.. Might get a few numbers. I haven't had any problems with the car, Mary.. It seats 5 people and there are only 3 cup holders though. That is a big pain.. Plus the front cup holders are pretty far down, I have to bend towards the wheel to put a drink down or pick it up. It takes some getting used to, I had to drive around with a drink in my hand if it was dark because I couldn't see where the cup holder was at night. There's nothing really wrong with it, just a couple small things that are out of place or make me go, 'Huh, that's interesting.' Oh, also.. You would think the tires would be pretty cheap since they look like just regular passenger tires.. Nope! They are not kept in stock at stores around here and when I had a flat, I had to call about 3 different stores before I could find one who could get me a tire that day and not charge me for picking it up and it cost me over $100 with no warranty for one tire. I used to drive a sports car with low profile tires and I could get tires for $80 apiece for that car, so that was a little bit of a shock for me. Other than that, it is a cute wonderful little car and it's great for a teenager or someone who is in their early teens, but I am at the point where I am trying to go somewhere in my career and since I work in an office, a little box isn't exactly the professional image I am going for, lol.

Well...
I am now the proud owner of a 2007 Nissan Altima (the one pictured is an '05, I believe). I got a fabulous deal on it and picked it up last night.

Congratulations, Jenn! Thats great news. I am so jealous ... I've never owned a brand new car. They have always been a few years old. Hope you enjoy it for years to come ~ I'm sure the hounds will!

Have you taken the 4-leggers for a cruise yet? It needs to be christened properly - with fur & drool!
Congratulations!
