I got Kandy off of death row yesterday. She's about 7 months old and some type of basset mix. What a bundle of energy she is!!! I am hoping to find her a great forever home where she will recieve as much love as she gives! Sorry about the pic quality - she NEVER stops moving!

Careful what you say Mary!! It would be a great place for her.
I have no doubts that she came from a lovng home - which makes her stay on death row even more puzzling. I got her in a town that has an air force base and I hope that the only reason they left her was for deployment elsewhere.
Right how she's taking a pppy nap at my feet. It's hard to be so young and have so much energy!

This sweetie was an owner surrender. The people who surrendered her got her at 7 weeks of age, kept up with all her shots, hw etc and then left her in the shelter to die. I talked to their vet yesterday to see if she had been spayed and the vet was shocked.
I am shocked. She's as sweet as can be but definitely full of puppy energy! I can't imagine why they left her.

I got her from a town where the air force base is the only real commerce. I wonder if the owner was deployed to Iraq and had no one to leave her with. I don't know if that makes me feel better or not.
She's going in tomorrow to be spayed and then will be all set for a furever home. She's so sweet that she deserves the best life can give her.
But I'd forgot how energetic they are at that age!!!!!

She has such a sweet little face. We're sending some drool to help her heal from her spay as quickly as possible (although when they are that young, they almost don't notice!) and that she finds a furever home in no time.
