Well I still have all 4. Tony and I talked about it, and I know that it is gonna be a handful but it looks like they will be here furever.
Tubby,Sugar,Spot,and Caboose are the newest full time members of our crew. I'll get pics up soon.

Good luck! I know you will need it with that many bassets. Mary probably has some good tips, haha.
I think you should line up your crew and take pics of them all! Well, try to anyway.

Well, I think you are certifiable!!! But in a good way! Can't wait for more pics - they grow up way too fast.
I think it helps my sanity that my crew is all older. 4 buppies would be exciting!

I'll have to charge up my camera batteries.
Any advice on keeping them from fighting while they eat? There is 6 bowls I fill them all up at the same time. Flash and Ernest do not eat until the pups are through. Tubby,Caboose, and Sugar will fight over one bowl. Spot just skims over the ones that are not being faught over. I have tried to space them far apart, but they go take the others bowl..... I have to supervise meal time.And I am worried about them as they get bigger.Some one is gonna get hurt.

Try putting leashes on them so they can't leave their bowl and go to someone else's.

I have taught mine to eat in one spot it took awhile but it will work. When it is feed time everyone goes to there spot. Except Gracie she woofs her food down in about 2 seconds then paces the floor trying to get someones leftovers. Good luck with all the puppies. do you have as many as I do?

I did not think about leashes. That will keep them still until they learn whos bowl is whos. Thanks  Mary I have 6, about 1/2 of what you have...... I am still amazed at how you do it!!! Hats off to you!!! |

I think 6 is a good number, what I have... I feed mine in the same spot, same time and they understand the pattern by now and it has to be the same everytime or there is fights.I'm the only one that feeds and they know I'm the boss .I stand and watch tell its all gone from each bowl.Same with treats everyone gets his far share , give them each a treat and they line up for it ... same way each time. I think the leash ideal is a good one I hadn't thought of it...I diffenately would give that a try.

I think I will. They eat at the same time in the same spot. And I have to stand with them to keep the chaos down. But with leashes they will not have a choice, and once they get use to it I can go back to normal.
