Everyone is going to want to get some questions together because coming up soon we are going to get the opportunity to ask advice from one of the most famous dog trainers in the country! Colleen Paige, Celebrity Dog Trainer to the Stars And daughter of Actor Robert Page from such old time films as “Abbott and Costello Goes to Mars” Colleen is the author of “Dog Drool” and the Star of her Own upcoming Television Show about Dog Training.. Colleen has agreed to come on to our humble message board to answer all of our Basset Training Questions! We don’t have a date set yet cause she’s in the middle of filming episodes of her new show, but as soon as I get a date I’ll give everyone a heads up! She's a wonderful person, very down to earth and LOVES BASSETS! In the meantime she has a ton of Great information about dog training online. She writes for several different websites such as www.puppyfinder.com/colleen/that you might want to take a look at! Also, you may want to go to her website and look into her new Audio Book she has for sale? www.universitydog.com Without a doubt we will make her feel welcome so with some luck she may come back often!

Yeah I'm real excited about her upcoming visit too!
I'm trying to make our board as well rounded and informative as possible? Besides, Colleen is just as sweet as she can be. I think we will all really enjoy her company. At the very least, this way when we start seeing her show on Animal Planet then we can say "Hey! I know her" haha..
Her only downside is that she owns a Lab and only is in Love with Bassets? Everyone can't be as lucky as us I guess? But maybe after she visits with us she might just add a new member to her family? Who knows!

When will she be here? I can think of a million questions to ask her. Like, now that my dog's older, how do I transition her from puppy pads to the outdoors without ruining my carpet? Is there anything else we can do for separation anxiety when the usual prescription doesn't work?
I can't wait!
