Yesterday our Miranda turned 11. About every 3 years Mannheim Steamroller comes to Sacramento for their Christmas concert. Last night was the night and we surprised Miranda and took her with us. The decorations are amazing and this concert is the epitomy of Christmas. The village on the main floor in front of the stage Of course what's a village without a steam train? They had tin soldiers, gingerbreadmen, and snowmen that wandered the arena. Here's Miranda with one of the soldiers Miranda and her grandma Miranda and her grandpa Today we go pick up three more grand kids for the weekend. Tonight we bake cookies, Tomorrow night we celebrate Miranda's birthday with the family (thank God it's at Melissa's house this year), Sunday we make fudge, and Sunday evening we decorate our tree. Throw in a basset board meeting 2 hours from here on Sat, and a Caroling party after Mirnada's B.D. party (don't think I'll make that), and you have our weekend. If you EVER get the chance to see Mannheim Steamroller's Christmas concert, be sure you do. You can't help but be filled with the spirit of Christmas.
