My poor boy has some kind of mouth rot thing on his lower lip where the upper and lower jaw meet. The vet is calling it "skin fold dermatitis" which makes sense because it's always drooly and damp. He put Gus on an oral antibiotic and suggested I clean the area daily with baby wipes. He's six years old and never had this before. It's been three weeks since we saw the vet and it's slightly better, but not gone. Any advice?

No none. I've never heard of such a thing? You may get some dog toothpaiste and try brushing his teeth every day? Maybe ask your vet for something different that it's not helping?
Best of luck to you! It sounds painful for your poor baby!

The very best thing you can do is keep it clean and dry. Poor little guy!
