My dogs are overdue on shots... its been like two years due to financial considerations. Please don't beat me up, there just was not the funds.
Is there a reason to worry? When they get their shots will there more likely be a reaction? SHould I be honest and tell the vet or will they put me in jail for not updating them sooner lol!?
Thanks all, Dot

No you'll be fine with your vet. They see it all the time. It's the fact that you did bring them in that really counts. I would suggest though, that you have your hounds tested to see what the level of protection they have in their bodies already? There's a new belief out there that they should not get shots every year as the old ways would have it. See Your Purebreed Puppy From The Nature of Animal Healing: The Definitive Holistic Medicine Guidewww.yourpurebredpuppy.com/health/common/vaccinations.htmlThe test is a simple blood test and it could help avoid giving shots that are not needed.

I didn't know this---Lexie takes the monthly pill called Inteceptor. It is time for me to buy some but I was hoping to do the shot instead. Oh well, I guess we will stick to the pill. She doesn't mind it, it's flavored.
