feet problems

Has anyone had problems with their bassets feet?
max seems to keep getting a cyst between his toes,and is constantly licking it,which sounds kinda gross and makes his breath stink.The vet doesnt seem to bothered about it,but has not said why its a re occurrence.

Wish I could shed some intelligent light on this question.......all I can say is that bassets are apparently prone to interdigital cysts, and from what I've read it can be a recurring problem. Scully had a cyst removed from her foot back in February, but it wasn't of the "interdigital" kind, so the vet said it would not come back.

Hopefully someone else has some better input to give you.
