I'm sorry but I have to go on the firing line with you! Harley and Hanna LOVE Ol' Roy They have So Many Great Varieties for them now. The Kibble being their favorite.
I did some research into the company and everything checked out real good. They are in the top five brands purchased including all the fancey ones. Catch to that is every supermarket brand dog food is made by the same company that makes Ol' Roy?
Sooooo what's the bad news guys?

;D :-XHoly Crap (ha ha) Why is there so much controversy over the dog food? I don't want to feel 'guilty' for feeding my 'kids' ol Roy - and yes, they like it, but it is much more economical - **You made my day!** LizB

hahaha.. Well I guess it's just one of them things? I'm sort of a "Closet Ol' Roy Fan" myself.
But look at these two below. . . Do they look unhealthy to you?
I'm no nutrition expert, all I know is they love it and always get great marks from their vet during their check-ups?

I feel whatever works for your dog is fine, as long as the dog is happy and healthy with the chosen food. However, I do have a problem child. Sophie has a rather severe allergy to corn, so I have to avoid any foods that have corn in it in any way, shape, or form. Treats, too. I did find, probably due to this allergy, that she had been sluggish, no pep, no energy, and after switching her food over to a premium food, all of that changed. She has more energy now, no more itchies or red rashy armpits, and her coat has a lot more luster to it than when we'd been on cheaper foods. My boy has no allergy problems and can eat anything, but after seeing how well she's done, I decided to switch him and my Westie over to the premium food. I'd love to feed cheaper, and I did for years, but sometimes when you have a problem child, you have no choice but to go more expensive.
