www.merribas.com/The Harry Sanders of Merribas Memorial Basset Hound Rainbow Bridge. In Loving Memory of Our Friend HarryHarry passed away in his sleep on December 30th. I know everyone hearts are as saddened as my own from this news. Harry was a wonderful man and a very important part of our lives here. We could always turn to Harry for help with our four legged loved ones. He will be surely missed by all of us. It comforts me to know that for now on, any Basset who Crosses the Bridge will have a friendly face with a warm heart and open arms to great them and care for them when they reach the other side. God Bless Harry and his family. Here is the email I received that has more details. . . Hi Lonnie... this is Wendy Harry's wife..... Lonnie it’s with a very heavy heart that I have to pass on the news of Harry's sudden death on 30th December...he just didn't wake up that Friday morning...we still don't know the cause, it will be several weeks before we get the coroner's report...he wasn't ill and he didn't know anything about it...it just happened in his sleep. The funeral was last Friday and over 250 people attended...he would have been so chuffed, many people stood up and paid tributes to him. Wendy

Oh Lonnie...I think this is wonderful and I have a feeling that Harry would think "It's not necessary!"

How can it be to have never met someone and get such big tears in my eyes when I see that photo? We all know that he loved his hounds and loved to be in the ring with them. I wish that we all could have had the opportunity to have met Harry.
