We Lived through the Renaissance Period.  Outfits and Fanfaire They where a HUGE hit! Everyone wanted their photographs taken with them and they got invited to be in the Royal Percession with the King and Queen! ! ! Sad part was by the time that was going on Hanna & Harley was playing "Flat Basset" and NOT going to do ANY more walking! But everyone had a great time! I'll try for better pictures tomorrow.  Hanna was so pretty  Harley Made the BEST Wizard and got his picture taken with the Faires Wizard!Betty (Bassetpup) did an Awesome job on the Outfits I can't thank her enough! ! ! ;D I was One Proud Pappa! |

I am so glad to hear that they were a hit! YAY!!! Sounds like you had a great time and they were admired by all (just as they should be!). I am trying to catch up here on the board. My husband is finally home YAY!! and I have been busy catching up with him.

Oh yes they was taken by the hounds being dressed up like they where!
All the performers wanted their pictures taken with them it was so cool! The Babies had such a good time. They love the attention!
You should be proud Betty and YEssss We know you catching up with the hubby there! ;D
We're holding the fort down for you so take your time! and Have Fun! ! !

Gee Lonnie Hanna and Harley look great , you must of had fun , is Hanna talking to Harley again??
We used to have this sort of parade in Melbourne once but they have not had one for about 10 years now ,it was great fun,. any way it looks like everyone had a great time, the out fits look great,Betty sure did a good job..

Hey can you Tell me where you get the patterns from or do you do them yourself  . I sew quite a bit and would love to get Juliet used to it. Besides her Human sister would love to accompany her at halloween. That way the Howling in the night won"t be soo Scary cause it will be Juliet!! Love the pictures. If you get put in the newspaper you have to post those too! ;D... Heather |

Betty made both outfits and did it from scratch! Pretty good huh? But she did say something about seeing some patterns by Simplicity I think it was?
Oh yeah! Halloween! ! ! Can't wait!
Harry it was great. The puppies sure love getting out with everyone and didn't mind the outfits one bit!

I just sort of made up the pattern myself for those, but they DO have pattern for costumes in Butterick and Simplicity so that might be the place to start. I do think that they would have to be modified just a bit to fit a Basset's unique frame!!
