our momma is back...she is done with the funerals, and memorials, and done with moving. we now have a new house with a huge fenced yard. we are soooo tired at the end of every day from patrolling our yard. now momma says we can get a foster basset. we wish all the bassets could con play with us. we wanted to say hi to everyone though.

Welcome back, guys!! Glad to hear about your momma being back, your new yard, AND getting a foster! You are soooo lucky! We would love a foster but we've been pwetty destructive lately and Daddy keeps saying "No! No! No! This is ALL I can handle." HURMPF on him. Welcome back and congratulations on the new yard! I can't wait to hear about the new landscaping the girls will be helping you with...oh, you might want to consult Mowgli and Baloo as I hear they are quite talented in that area!

Yea...we can come help you landscape your yard!!! Silly people think all those flowers and bushes look pwetty all perfect in a garden. We know better! They look soooo nice all scattered about the yard. And they are vewy tasty as well! ;D When your momma or daddy works in the yard...make sure any grass clippings or yard waste is somewhere you can get at it....it is SOOOO fun to shred those bags and drag all that stuff back into the yard. Wait until you hear your daddy grumble and gruff....it's funny!!  In a big yard you an drag LOTS of things out there. We have socks, lots of toys, a couple of empty soda jugs...a chalkboard eraser, lots of chew bones...a bunch of half-eaten wiffle balls and bats...one pair of underwear...several dismembered Barbie doll arms and legs (it's funny to hear people scream when they first see them!!)...  Momma says our yard looks TRASHY...we think it's a perfect play yard for a couple of Bassets.  And last, but not least, we just started EXCAVATING! We never did that before...but it is fun! You can make all kinds of things...like holes to bury your special things in....a birdie bath...even a nice swimming hole...because you know it gets very hot in the summer where we live!  Let us know what you want our help!! We're ready!! |
