We've only had the Bassets now for 9 months total..but it's sooo funny because for every occasion the kids give me LOTS of Basset crap. I have picture frames, mugs, calendars, books, charms, a cookie jar, figurines...both store bought and hand-made...a giant Basset bed (courtesy of Angelika & Ms. brandy), a bunch of clothing items, outdoor and indoor gnomes of all sorts....and TONS and TONS of pictures. Seems every time the dogs move we get out the camera!!!

Funny you should mention that.......my husband always points out that while he keeps one of our wedding pics in his wallet, I only have pictures of Scully Everyone at work always laughs at me too cuz pretty much everywhere you look in my office, there's a basset picture, mug, Hush Puppies stuffy etc.

Between the stuff at work, at home, in my car there's too much basset crap to count

We have over the years a small amount of pics of our children and grand children which are displayed on the wall in our passage, we have photos of our bassets in every other room in the house, our lounge has ever possible ( I think) basset statue made it looks like it any way, my digital camera would have about 1000 pics recorded on my computer. Before digital cameras we have a number of photo albums full of photos of past bassets.

OHHHHHHHHHHH this is a sore subject at my house. My kids and grandkids all complain that they have been replaced by the hounds. I have shelves in our family room with MANY picks of the two leggers, but EVERY room in my house has basset crap in it. I run the gamut from Dotti's wonderful prints, to an original hush puppy bank. Of coure the obligatory bassset figures and statues are everywhere. I think the straw that broke the camel's back with the kids was the long frame I filled with Sadie, Linus, and Ben's head shots and hung over our bed when we redid the bedroom.

Ok I'll fess up.
If it comes to the amount of prints saved on the computer like Harry said then I'm in trouble.
No pics in the wallet of my hounds but at the office I sort of look like a dork. Got a statue and one of them Hush Puppy stuffed animals. (that gets the attention)

At home of course I have the David Dowbyhuz originals (Up to three now!) and soon I will be getting my hand colored Denise Rich prints! I HAVE to get one or two of Dotti's now to round things out! ! !

Sorry, but I have more photos of the two-legged kids! Although a lot of the pics of Norton are WITH the kids, so he's at a disadvantage in terms of numbers.

But with the kids, there are so many occasions where pictures are called for: birthdays, Halloween, vacations, etc.

Plus kids grow and change constantly, so I do like to take pictures every couple of months. With Norton, I took a lot of shots of him as a growing puppy, but now that he's pretty much grown, I just take a pic once in a while. Guess that makes me a poor basset owner!
