It's so nice that you bought Scully a new house! Although I'm sure he was not thrilled by the moving.
Where abouts are you now? And does this mean you'll be in one place for a while? The movie industry is very big in NM now and I keep waiting for you guys to come down this way for a month or two.
WE NEED NEW HOUSE PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Caruso is definitely as sweet as he looks. And he sings in the most beautiful voice. If he were older there's no way I'd let him go! We've got a visit on Sat. with a prospective furever family. They have a 7 year old houndette and 2 children. They've been looking a long time for a second basset and I think that Caruso might be a good fit for them. Even though I know it's the best thing for Caruso, I will have a big hole in my heart when he goes.
Fostering can really make me an emotional wreck!
Give Scully a big smoochy kiss from me.

Hey Chris, sorry it took me forever to get back on here. Been having a few computer issues, ugh. Yup, we plan on staying here in BC for a while. The hubby had been asked to go back to where he worked in NZ, and we would LOVE to go back, but we just can't do that to the Scullinator again. And well, I wish we could go back to Toronto cuz being so far away from our families really stinks, but it's better out here for the man, job-wise. So, here we will stay. Did Caruso end up going to his furever fam?? I would love to try fostering now that we have a house. There don't seem to be many hounds around here that need rescuing though, which is great. Here's a couple pics: Here she is, telling me to put the camera down: Wow, actually being able to run around leash-free in the yard is pretty cool: Having a good sniff: This was what Scully did last week when my hubby was getting ready for a trip...I don't think she wanted him to go: Here's our little house (the yard need serious help, lol): Scully's yard/toilet/sunbathing area: And here's a silly little video of the beast herself: youtube.com/watch?v=iSP4EfNeTio

It looks like Scully approves! I love that first pic of her telling you to put the camera down. Mine react the same way.
The house and yard look great - I bet Scully loves the freedom of romping right out her back door. It's nice of her to let you share her house.
I know that hubby is in the movie industry - but what type of work does he do? I was a technical theater major decades ago when I first started college. Needless to say, a lot has changed!
Caruso went to his furever home. I know it is where he was meant to be, but I miss him. He is a special houndie. He has an older basset sister, Lola, a mom, dad and 2 teenage 2-leggers. One son is in a softball league and Caruso & Lola go to all the games. I know he'll have a wonderful life.

Chris, At the moment, he's the head of production technology at an animation company, and if I could intelligently explain exactly what the heck he actually does on a daily basis, I would. lol It's all technical, programming, computer stuff that is way beyond my comprehension! I didn't realize you had been into technical theater. I'm glad that Caruso has himself a great family, complete with a basset sister. I'm sure it must be so hard to see your fosters go, even when you're happy for them. I think I'd fall in love with every hound that walked through my door. How about the other guy you were fostering...Charlie, right? Is he still with you? General's dad (it's Vinnie, right?? It's been a while, and sometimes I wonder if my memory is intact, lol): Thanks for the kudos on the video! I can't see the one of General attached...or perhaps I'm just on crack.
