I seem to remember that you said one of your girls was expecting a little while ago. I visited the Southern Bassets site to check but didn't see any info....what ever happened with that?

Yes I did. Maybe it was just wishful thinking but Hanna never conceived?  During the last time she was in season, my son (who moved back home with mommy & daddy) had a huge Black Lab living with us that the Hounds absolutely hated! I believe that Hanna was too upset by this new house guest that it actually did something to her because she felt threatened? We're trying again with Hanna on her next heat which should be around July - September. |

Yeah Betty I was very disappointed.  If I was one of "Those" breeders with 10 females going at the same time I could have placed every single puppy. I get emails all the time asking about puppies. From people as far away as Washington State? I couldn't live with myself if I did such a thing! Then it would be all about the money and that's just heartless! ! ! |

I know you love your babies and their babies  . If my husband would let me have three, I would try to wiggle my way to the top of your waiting list! LOL. I would just unleash Lillian's "look" and you could never resist ;D |

But you really need to find a strong champion background to help you with showing!
Strangest thing..
I wrote everyone on the list for the puppies that arn't going to happen after all, and two people actually want to stay on the list till they DO have a litter? Talk about being a proud Daddy!
