I am JoAnn and live in Fairfield Calif. Right smack between Sacramento and San Francisco. Hubby and I have 3 bassets, Sadie, LInus a rescue and Ben a rescue. We are both involved in transporting, home visits etc for our local Basset Hound club.

Glad to be here with other slaves and their houndies.

Yep that was Halloween and this has become their signature pic. Everyone who knows us calls them The Three Amigos. Never a dull moment around here.

How do they do keeping the hats on?

Bassetpup is making Harley a wizard outfit
and Hanna a Princess outfit for the Renaissance Faire.
This should be interesting to see how they do with hats?

I have a friend who is very involved in Mid America Basset Rescue. Is it all right if I ask her to join us here?

Of course! She is welcome to come. We would love to get to know her. I have volunteered for Sucoast Basset Rescue and also Florida Basset Rescue but haven't been called to do anything yet. I just recently volunteered to foster for FBR and hope that I can help with that soon. I help various rescues that aren't basset related with transport and home visits when needed as well.

I love the picture of them together like that! The name is great! We call our three cats the Three Meowsketeers..LOL.

Do you know Wendi Prince, Laura Mallard, or Marilyn Hodges? They are all friends of mine from a couple other boards and are involved in SunCoast rescue. If you bought a SunCoast calendar this year you would see the 3 Amigos's photo on the month of August. LOL Nope I'm not proud of them.

Yup! I know who they are! Very nice ladies. We have been approved for adoption but have to hold off cuz the hubby is out to sea and will be for a long time. DRAT! I haven't been contacted yet but talked to Tara about volunteering at an event here close to me. Plus, she will be keeping an eye on Lillian for us when we go on vacation this summer. I have also met Marty who is the foster momma for Sadie the senior hound. I had the pleasure of meeting Sadie and she is a big ol sweetheart but she didn't care for Lillian much. Lily is just too rambunctious for her..lol. I tell ya though, she put Lily in her place real quick and let her know that she didn't want to play..lol. I don't have the calendar but they are offering a special on one. Is that the same one? I think it was $19 for a sweetheart waddle shirt and a calendar.....

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong with Lexie but there is no way I could get her to pose, much less wear a hat. Are all three asleep on their feet?

That is a result of a 2 hr work out. You should see the out takes I have one that is a riot. I will post when I find it. I can only do pictures with the hounds when I am alone and can lock them in a room with me. When the photo shoot is over we all take naps ;D
